EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER (AIM SUPPORT) REQUIRED IMMEDIATELY
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Part -Time Early Years Practitioner you will become a member of
the Ballyogan Community Childcare team, responsible for delivering
high quality care and learning opportunities for children, based on
the needs and interests of those children.
SOME OF YOUR DUTIES WILL BE:
* To assist children to integrate as fully as possible into our Early
Years? Service
* Promote positive relationships with parents, children and
colleagues
* Ensure health, safety and wellbeing of the children
* Support children?s development, independence, learning and play
* Maintain professionalism at all times
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
* Qualification in childcare (minimum FETAC level 5)
* 2 years? experience working in a childcare setting
* Good communication skills ? fluency in both spoken and written
English
* Experience of and desire to be a team player.
* Excellent interaction skills with children and colleagues.
* Experience of dealing with challenging behaviours and special
needs(desirable)
* Knowledge and experience of working within the Aistear Curriculum
Framework (desirable)
* Current Garda vetting
This position is subject to Garda Vetting and 2 satisfactory recent
written references, one of which must be from your most recent
employer.
